MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State men's swimming & diving program returns to action Friday when it travels to the IU Natatorium to battle in-state rival IU Indy. Action is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Last season, the Cardinals earned a 164-136 dual win over the Jaguars at the Lewellen Aquatic Center, snapping a six-meet dual losing streak to IU Indy. However, two weeks later, the Jaguars took the top spot in the 10-team House of Champions meet, while Ball State finished second.

In last season's dual, the Cardinals won 10 of the 16 events led by individual victories in the  200 butterfly (1:53.34), 500 freestyle (4:38.56) and 400 IM (4:08.19) from Malcolm Slater. Also returning as an individual event winner from last season's meeting is Ethan Pheifer who took the top spot in the 100 backstroke (51.89).
