INDIANAPOLIS - - It was a good day for the Ball State women's swimming & diving squad which won 11 of 16 events on its way to a 189-108 victory at IU Indy Friday evening at the IU Natatorium.
Unfortunately, the men's squad was not a lucky, suffering a 235-64 setback to the host Jaguars.
On the women's side, the Cardinals started with a dominating effort in the 200 medley relay and never looked back. Junior Alyssa Messenger opened the relay with a 50 backstroke split of 27.03 and the Cardinals led the rest of the way with sophomore Julia Ofman, freshman Anna Keen and junior Payton Kelly helping produce a final time of 1:44.92.
