For her role in Ball State gymnastics’ win at Northern Illinois Saturday, freshman Carley Stalder has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
The North Canton, Ohio, native captured her second vault win of the season, tying her career high with a 9.850. She also tied for the top spot on beam with a career-best score of 9.875. The effort helped the Cardinals turn in the fifth-best team beam score in program history at 49.250.
Stalder, who has three event wins over the first three meets of the season, also turned in a countable score of 9.750 on floor against the Huskies.
