
Cardinals Close Regular Season at McKendree, Ohio State

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball team enters the final week of the regular season looking for two important wins that will hopefully result in hosting a first-round match at the MIVA Tournament. The Cardinals are at McKendree Thursday and Ohio State Saturday.

ABOUT MCKENDREE (11-11, 6-6 MIVA)
McKendree faced the top teams in the league last week in Lewis Loyola and went 0-2. The Bearcats will be looking to bounce back with an important slate of matches this week against Ball State and Purdue Fort Wayne. Zach Schnittker leads the team with 183 kills this season.
SERIES HISTORY
Ball State leads the series with McKendree by a count of 8-4. The Bearcats won the last matchup between the two schools by sweeping the Cardinals in February.
ABOUT OHIO STATE (8-18, 3-9 MIVA)
Ohio State lost to both Lewis and Loyola last week and has lost four of its last five. Jake Hanes had 273 kills this season and is the top Buckeye in that statistical category.
SERIES HISTORY
The Cardinals own a 106-98-1 advantage in the series with the Buckeyes. Ball State took the last matchup 3-1 in January.
