MVB Announces Three Additions to 2026 Class

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball program has signed three newcomers to its 2026 recruiting class, as announced by interim head coach Mike Iandolo. The Cardinals welcome Nathan Knight, Jack Slight and Nolan Jones.
Knight, a middle blocker from Libertyville, Ill., played four years of varsity at Libertyville High School under head coach Jenny Smith. In three years with the Wildcats, Knight has totaled 214 total blocks and 457 kills while averaging 2.3 kills per set and a .370 hitting percentage. His junior year, Knight tallied career bests, earning 119 total blocks, 236 kills, and a .406 hitting clip, aiding the squad to a perfect 7-0 mark in the North Suburban Conference. His performances that year were rewarded with an all-conference honor at the end of the campaign. Knight has previously accepted invites to participate in USA Volleyball's National Team Development Program Training Series in 2024 and 2025 and is a member of the Adversity Volleyball Club Team.
Slight, a setter from Phoenix, Ariz., recorded 667 assists, including 8.9 per set, along with 331 services aces and 56 kills his junior year at O'Connor High School. Slight's performance his junior year culminated with a 6A Desert Valley Conference Player of the Year honor. In three seasons with the Eagles, Slight and the program have never seen a conference defeat, going 23-0 in league competition under head coach Troy Dueling. Slight also competes for the Arizona Fear Volleyball Club Team.
Jones, an outside hitter from Raleigh, N.C., aided the Triangle Volleyball Club Boys 17 Black squad to a fifth-place finish at AAU Nationals in Orlando, Fla. In July 2025. Jones' success earned him a selection to the 2025 AAU Nationals All-American Team in the 17 open division. With the Triangle Boys 16 Black, Jones captured the Boys 16 Open AAU National Championship, going 11-0. Jones has previously accepted invitations to participate in USA Volleyball's National Team Development Program Training Series in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
