MVB Announces 2026 Schedule
October 23, 2025 | Men's Volleyball
MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State men's volleyball interim head coach Mike Iandolo has unveiled the program's schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The campaign consists of 26 matches, including 15 home dates at Worthen Arena.
"I'm really pumped about this year's schedule," Iandolo stated. "We've put together a challenging non-conference slate that will test us early and prepare us for the grind of MIVA play."
The Cardinals begin the new campaign at home, hosting Trine University Jan. 3 with a start time of 5 p.m. Ball State remains at home the following weekend for back-to-back dates versus Missouri S&T Jan. 9 at 6 p.m. and NJIT Jan. 10 at 5 p.m.
"What is truly exciting is having more home matches than away," Iandolo said. "There's nothing like playing in front of our home crowd – our fans bring incredible energy and make Worthen one of the toughest places to play in the country."
Ball State opens road play Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. when the team faces 2025 national championship runner-up UCLA in Phoenix, Ariz. as part of the First Point Collegiate Challenge Tournament held at the Phoenix Convention Center. The Cardinals then meet Stanford the following day, Jan. 18 at 4 p.m., also as part of the tournament.
Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association action begins for Ball State Feb. 5 when it hosts Queens at 7 p.m. The regular season wraps up against defending MIVA tournament champions Loyola Chicago April 11 at 4 p.m. inside Worthen Arena.
The 2026 MIVA tournament opens with quarterfinals April 18 on the number one seed's home court.
