Ball State Men's Volleyball: A Muncie Tradition

The Ball State men's volleyball team has been a staple of the Muncie community since its establishment as a varsity sport in 1964. The Cardinals have won a total of 40 championships and boast 29 All Americans along with several more All-MIVA performers. The father of Ball State men's volleyball and first head coach, Dr. Don Shondell, owns the second most wins all time in the sport with 769.
