After earning a runner-up finish at the Everett Buick GMC Classic, Ball State junior men’s golfer Carter Smith has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Smith, who also earned MAC Golfer of the Week honors for his effort, carded three under-par rounds and finished the tournament at -11 (205: 70-66-69).
His best effort came in the second round at the Chenal Country Club when he shot -6 (66) which was a career-low 18-hole score and BSU’s lowest individual round of the season.
