LORETTO, Pa. - The Ball State field hockey game between the Cardinals and Saint Francis University was canceled on Wednesday due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled. Sunday's game at Lock Haven has been moved up from noon to 9:00 a.m., in order to play before inclement weather hits the region later in the day.
After a slight lightening delay, the Cardinals and the Red Flashes took to the field for a defensive battle in the first 15 minutes of play. Ball State fired off only one shot while SFU led with two attempts including an unsuccessful penalty corner opportunity.
The Ball State field hockey team head to Lock Haven, Pa., where the Cardinals take on the Eagles Sunday in a game rescheduled for 9 a.m.
