Men's S&D Splits For Pair Of Weekend Meets

MUNCIE, Ind. - - It will be a split weekend for the Ball State men's swimming & diving program with a pair of divers heading to the Miami Classic (Feb. 10-11) and select swimmers heading to the Ohio State Winter Invitational (Feb. 10-12).

With just under three weeks until the Mid-American Conference Championships (March 1-4) hosted the Miami Aquatic Center, the Cardinals divers will look for one more opportunity to tune-up for the event at the host site.

In the pool, junior Brian Lower will represent Ball State over the three-day event at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

SEASON HIGHLGHTS:
Wyatt Blake:
- Named MAC Diver of the Week on Feb. 1 after winning all four diving events in his last two meets.
- Has five total diving wins on the season
- Turned in a season-best 3M score of 318.83 in the diving dual versus Anderson (Jan. 28)
- Earned the 1M win versus Miami (Jan. 21) with a season-best score of 297.30

Isaac Hunter:
- Took second on the 3M board in the diving dual versus Anderson (Jan. 28) with a season-best score of 310.43
- Earned a season-best 1M score of 256.43 versus Miami (Jan. 21)

Bryan Lower:
- Registered season-best times of 53.47 in the 100 butterfly and 1:58.92 in the 200 butterfly at the Miami Invitational (Dec. 2-3)
- Also turned in a season-best 100 backstroke of 55.53 at the Miami Invitational
