Men’s Tennis Opens Fall Season In-State at Purdue Invite

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Cardinals return to the court for some fall action this weekend when they travel to the campus of Purdue University for the Boilermakers annual fall invitational.
The three-day tournament will feature four teams in a hidden dual format and will be held at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
The action begins at 4 p.m. ET on Friday for Ball State when the Cardinals take on DePaul in doubles play and then BSU will close out the night with a 6 p.m. ET doubles match-up against host Purdue.
On Saturday, Ball State begins with an 11 a.m. ET singles match versus DePaul and then will face IUPUI in singles at 5 p.m. ET.
Ball State will then will wrap up its fall invitational at Purdue on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET in singles against DePaul.
Friday, September 17th
3:00 pm warm up time
4:00 pm 1st round doubles six games pro sets A vs B and C vs D
5:00 pm 2nd round doubles A vs C and B vs D
6:00 pm 3rd round doubles A vs D and B vs C
Saturday, September 18th
8:00 am warm up
9:00 am singles A vs B 2 out of 3 full sets
11:00 am singles C vs D (warm up courts available indoors)

3:30 pm singles A vs C
5:30 pm singles B vs D (warm up courts available indoors)
Sunday, September 19th
8:00 am warm up
9:00 am singles A vs D
11:00 am singles B vs C
Afternoon back up times in case of the rain
