Men’s Tennis has Successful Weekend in Fall Finale

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team had a successful showing at its own invite to close out its fall finale this weekend.
On Friday, Andrew Hayward paired up with Jacks Lancaster for a 6-3 decision over Dayton's Rishi Dore and Alfons Ridstrom.
In singles, Ball State took three matches from their respective opponents which saw Drew Hayward, Broc Fletcher and Nolan Hayward all earn victories.
Saturday saw even more improvement in the Cardinals' lineup. Fletcher, Andrei Caragea, Jeremy Millette and Zackary Kimelman all took down their oppositions in straight sets.
Also on Saturday, Jacks Lancaster alongside Drew Hayward captured a 6-2 doubles win over Matthew Nice and Sebastian Baumann. The duo of Milette and Caragea were victorious over Kaiaitz Mendibe and Andreas Nygaard, 7-5.
The Cardinals finished the tournament on Sunday with three singles wins and one doubles victory.
The Ball State men's tennis team opens spring play at Big Ten foe Indiana on Jan. 10 at 4 pm ET.
