
Cardinals Place 18 on Academic All-MIVA Squad

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association announced its all-academic team Wednesday morning and the Ball State men's volleyball team had 18 of its student-athletes honored.
The Cardinals improved their total from last season as they placed 16 on the team in 2018. Overall, the MIVA honored 120 student-athletes for academic achievement this season. To be eligible, student-athletes must have achieved at least a career 3.0 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale after the completion of the fall semester at their respective institutions. League champion Lewis narrowly edged Ball State for the most honorees in the conference with 19 total.
Among the BSU players selected were three seniors, six juniors, six sophomores and three freshmen. A full list of the honorees can be viewed below.
