MUNCIE, Ind. – Three of Ball State's four losses this year have been by eight points, including last week's setback to Northern Illinois. The Cardinals will try to find that winning formula this Saturday at Central Michigan.

Three Things to Know:
1. Ball State ranks second in the MAC in total offense (458.3 yards per game) while Central Michigan ranks first in total defense (350.7 ypg).
2. Ball State ranks second in the MAC in scoring defense at 24.0 points per game. One year ago, the Cardinals ranked last in the league in scoring defense (40.7 ppg).
3. Ball State will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak to Central Michigan. Three of the last four meetings have been decided by three points or less. Ball State has won four of the last five games played in Mount Pleasant.

11 – Junior LB Ray Wilborn had a career game last week against Northern Illinois. Wilborn posted a team season-high 11 tackles, two tackles for loss and an interception. He nearly returned the fourth quarter interception for a touchdown.
23 – Junior QB Riley Neal has thrown five touchdowns to just one interception the last four games. One week ago, Neal recorded a personal-high 56 pass attempts. Neal needs 23 passing yards this week to reach 7,000 for his career.
51 – Senior K Morgan Hagee set a personal best with a 51-yard field goal last week against Northern Illinois. It was the first time a Cardinal hit a 50-plus yard field goal since Scott Secor hit the game-winning 55-yarder at Central Michigan in 2014.
