Ball State Coaches Show Returns Aug. 24 - 6 p.m. at the 1925 PubHouse, and on WMUN Radio

MUNCIE, Ind. – Once again expanding a broadcast relationship that spans decades in East Central Indiana, Ball State Athletics and Woof Boom Radio will revive a Ball State coaches show on August 24, that was disbanded during the Covid era.
Monday Nights with the Red & White showcases Ball State head coaches each week in a local gathering with friends, fans and alumni at the 1925 PubHouse at the Courtyard. A live, dinnertime audience will dine in one of downtown Muncie's friendliest restaurants, while listening to weekly Ball State sports chatter from Cardinals coaches and WMUN radio personalities, every Monday evening at 6 p.m. The hour-long coaches show airs live as part of the Ball State Gainbridge Radio Network on WMUN's FM and AM signals – 92.5FM/1340 AM – as well as the WMUN App.
"We have enhanced our broadcast offerings over three consecutive years with Woof Boom, and I'm thrilled to revive our coaches show to better serve the Muncie community," said Ball State Director of Athletics Jeff Mitchell. "As the relationship with our fans grows stronger, Cardinals fans in Delaware County now have a better and more personal opportunity to engage with our coaches. I am thankful for the support and teamwork we continue to receive from both Woof Boom and the 1925 PubHouse. With the momentum we have throughout our department, this is a great time to unite in a downtown setting with the people and community who support our teams."

The 28-week coaches show schedule features Ball State football coach Mike Uremovich during the show's opening months, and continues all the way into March Madness with basketball coaches Chris Capko and Brady Sallee. Other Ball State coaches will appear on the show, periodically, as schedules permit.
The Ball State/Woof Boom partnership was revived and expanded last year when Ball State football games made a return to Woof Boom affiliate WLBC Radio (104.1 FM), whose signal has a broad reach into Indianapolis and Fort Wayne regions. WMUN Radio remains the home of Ball State football pre- and postgame shows, and the official radio home of Ball State men's and women's basketball games.
Also last year, WMUN added a live, weekly midday show, "This Week in Ball State Sports," featuring voice of the Cardinals Mick Tidrow. Another football pregame staple, "Charlietown Live!," continues to air on WMUN prior to each Ball State home game, with live coverage from Scheumann Scheumann tailgate lots for 60 minutes of football talk before Tidrow assumes control in the pregame show.
