MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week (Oct. 15, 2018)
2018 (Sr.): Served as the team’s placekicker in all 12 games … broke the school’s record for career extra points in the win over Western Michigan on Nov. 13 and left Ball State with 129 extra points … finished his Ball State career with 282 points which ranks third in program history … his 51 field goals ranks fourth in program history … led the team in scoring with 68 points … hit the game-winning 36-yard field goal with 47 seconds left in the win at Central Michigan on Oct. 13 … matched his career high with three field goals at No. 8 Notre Dame on Sept. 8 and again on Oct. 6 versus NIU … hit a career-long 51-yard field goal against Northern Illinois, surpassing a 49-yard make at Notre Dame a month earlier … made all 35 PAT attempts.
2017 (Jr.): Saw action in all 12 games as the team’s placekicker … also involved in punting duties the final five weeks of the year … made a field goal in seven games … equaled a personal high by connecting on three field goals on Oct. 21 against Central Michigan … converted a season-long 47-yard field goal in the win over UAB on Sept. 9 … recorded a team season-long 59-yard punt which was downed at the seven-yard line in the third quarter at Northern Illinois on Nov. 9 … pinned four punts inside the 20-yard line against Toledo on Oct. 26 … had a string of 63 consecutive made PATs snapped in the fourth quarter against UAB on Sept. 9 … that was his only PAT miss during the season.
2016 (So.): Played in all 12 games as the team’s placekicker … ranked fourth in the MAC in field goals made (15) … one of three MAC kickers to make every extra point attempt in 2016 … only missed one field goal inside 40 yards all season (12-of-13) … hit a season-long 44-yard field goal in the season opener at Georgia State … that field goal gave the Cardinals the lead for good in the third quarter … made eight of his final nine field goal attempts to end the season.
2015 (Fr.): Played in all 12 games as the team’s placekicker … also split time handling kickoff duties … converted 76.2 percent of his field goal attempts which ranked third in the MAC … made eight of his final nine field goal attempts to end the season … only missed one field goal inside of 40 yards all season (14-of-15) … booted a season-long 45-yard field goal in the first quarter at Ohio on Nov. 17 … made all three of his field goal attempts, including a 43-yarder, at Texas A&M on Sept. 12 … joined the team in January 2015.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Brian Woodard at Plainfield High … earned three letters for the Quakers and was named to the All-Mid-State Conference first team and academic all-conference squad as a senior … made 11-of-14 field goals with a long of 49 as a senior … connected on 25-of-26 extra points and averaged 35.8 yards per punt in his final season … made 16-of-21 field goals and 58-of-60 extra points while averaging 36.0 yards per punt in prep career … set the Plainfield school records for field goals made in a game (3), field goals made in a season (11) and field goals made in a career (16) … named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Top-50 All-State team … selected All-Hendricks County as a senior.
