Field Hockey Falls to 3-2 After Loss at Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. – The Ball State field hockey team lost its second game of the season after a tough 5-0 loss to #17 Northwestern Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats proved to be too much for the Cardinals right off the bat with a penalty corner score in the second minute of the game. Northwestern went on to tally two more goals before the half and two more in the second half.
Jordan Dues had a season-high 13 saves in the contest.
The Cardinals will look to get back to the win column Saturday against Colgate in a neutral site game beginning at noon.
