Men’s Golf Heads to Firestone Invitational

The Ball State men's golf team will continue its fall schedule Monday and Tuesday with the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
The 54-hole event, hosted by Akron, begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Monday. Teams will play 36 holes on the opening day. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
Ball State's lineup will feature Timothy Wiseman, Michael Makris, Johnny Watts, Michael VanDeventer and Keegan McKinney. Blake Vise will compete as an individual.
Makris led the Cardinals in their most recent action with a tie for 23rd at the Inverness Intercollegiate.
This week's event, held on the North Course at Firestone Country Club, features 16 teams. They include Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Francis Marion, Furman, Georgetown, Illinois State, Marshall, Ohio, Old Dominion, USC Aiken, Western Kentucky and Xavier.
