
Men's Tennis Tallies Victory Over IUPUI

The Ball State University men's tennis team tallied a 7-0 win over IUPUI at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 3-2 on the season, while the Jaguars fell to 1-6 on the year.
Ball State swept the doubles point with an 8-3 victory at No. 1, an 8-2 win at No. 2 and an 8-4 victory in the No. 3 spot.
The Cardinals lost only one set in the six singles matches, while tallying victories at each position. Cliff Morrison's win at the No. 5 singles spot improved his record to 3-0 on the season. Shaun Bussert's victory at No. 4 singles evened his record at 2-2 for the year, and came over Bren Vasalakis, a graduate of Yorktown High School.
Eduardo Pavia, Jose Perdomo and Jorge Rodriguez all improved to 3-2 with their singles victories, while Zane Smith improved to 2-1 on the season.
Ball State will host Detroit Mercy Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
