“I like the way our kids played for the majority of the game,” said Ball State head coach Billy Taylor. "They showed a lot of courage by fighting back. For the most part, I thought we stood toe-to-toe with them for most of the game.”
With the Zips shooting 46 percent from behind the arch, they matched a season high by sinking 11 three pointers.
“That's their forte, that's what they do,” said BSU team captain Peyton Stovall. "It's something that could have been prevented.”
