For her performance at the MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, senior Jenelle Rogers has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Over the course of the three-day meet, Rogers turned in six podium finishes, including three gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal. The effort helped her earn both MAC Women’s Most Valuable Performer and Most Outstanding Field Performer honors for the second consecutive season. Overall, Rogers accounted for 48 of the team’s 103 points on its way to a third-place finish.
The First Team All-MAC honoree took home titles in the heptathlon, long jump, and 100m hurdles. She also placed second in the shot put, third in the 200m dash and fifth in the high jump.
