For his part in helping guide the Ball State men’s golf team to the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championship, junior Ali Khan has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Khan earned MAC All-Tournament honors after tying for fourth overall with a 54-hole score of -4 (212). He fired back-to-back rounds of -2 (70) to open the tournament at The Club at Chatham Hills, while finishing with a final-round score of E (72).
Over the course of the three-day event, Khan finished the event tied for third among the field of 45 golfers with a Par 4 average of +1 (4.03). He also played the courses Par 5 holes at a combined -5 (4.58) to rank 15th among the field.
One of 22 golfers to card at least one eagle during the tournament, Khan also tied four 11th among the field with 12 birdies to help the Cardinals secure a five-stroke win and a berth into the NCAA Regionals.
