For his play in football’s homecoming win over Central Michigan, senior linebacker Sidney Houston Jr. has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Houston contributed both Ball State sacks in the 24-17 victory over the Chippewas, and three of the Cardinals seven tackles for loss. He finished the game with four total tackles.
With the game on the line in the fourth quarter and CMU driving past midfield in the final minute, Houston's sack stifled the Chippewas and helped secure Ball State's first conference win.
