Cardinals' Nick Kincaid Named MAC Video Coordinator of the Year
March 05, 2026 | Football
The Collegiate Sports Video Association named Nick Kincaid, football video and creative content coordinator at Ball State University, the 2025-2026 Mid-American Conference Video Coordinator of the Year.
Â
Kincaid was selected by his peers in the MAC to receive the Conference Video Coordinator of the Year honor. He is now a finalist for the prestigious Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual CSVA banquet on May 20th, 2026 in Denver, Colorado.
Â
The Bob Matey award is presented to the Video Coordinator who displays innovation, determination, perseverance and technical skill as portrayed by the late Bob Matey, legendary Video Coordinator from Texas A&M.
Â
Kincaid serves as the video and creative content coordinator for the Ball State football program, where he has completed five seasons overseeing and executing the program's full scope of video and creative operations. In this role, he manages all football video needs, including operation of the Catapult video system, practice and game filming, highlight production, photography and graphics, and the organization and maintenance of an extensive video library of both college and NFL games. He also leads and supervises a team of student workers, training and coordinating them to support daily and game-day video workflows while maintaining high production standards across the department. Nick has also represented the MAC on the National Open Exchange Co-Op since 2025.
Â
Prior to Ball State, Nick worked at IMG Academy from 2017 through 2020. During his tenure, he helped oversee the football department's expansion to two varsity teams along with a post-graduate team, supporting the program's rapid growth with structured video operations and coverage. His time there concluded with a national championship season in 2020, marking a high point in the program's competitive and organizational development.Â
Â
Nick began his professional football video career with the Indianapolis Colts, serving as a training camp video intern in 2013 before working as a season video intern from 2014 through 2016. He has also been a member of the Collegiate Sports Video Association since 2018.
Â
A graduate of Ball State University, Kincaid earned his degree in Telecommunications and Video Production in 2013. An Indiana native, he resides in Yorktown, Indiana with his wife, Jacqueline, and their two dogs, Shabbi and Apollo.
