For her part in helping guide the Ball State women’s volleyball team to a pair of league wins at Eastern Michigan last week, senior outside hitter Cait Snyder has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Snyder turned in her best weekend of the season to date, averaging 3.67 kills per set and hitting .258 (22-6-62) to lead the Cardinals to a pair of road sweeps over the Eagles. She started with a season-high 12 kills and a .458 (12-1-24) attack percentage in Friday’s 3-0 victory, while also tallying a solo block. Snyder added 10 kills and seven digs in Saturday’s sweep.
