After helping guide the men’s tennis team to a pair of league wins last week, graduate student Eli Herran has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Herran went 2-0 at No. 3 singles to help the Cardinals defeat both Toledo and Buffalo to extend its MAC winning streak to four matches. With the wins, Herran has earned 96 career victories for Ball State which ranks seventh all-time in program history.
Herran clinched match point over Toledo with a two-set thrilling victory Friday, and then proceeded to be the first off the court winning in two frames versus Buffalo Sunday.
