Ball State Places 10 on CSC Academic All-District At-Large Teams

GREENWOOD, Ind. - - A total of 10 Ball State athletes from field hockey, men's & women's golf, gymnastics and men's volleyball have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, as announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The Academic All-District® honor, which is part of CSC's Academic All-America® program, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
To qualify, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have met specific competition requirements for their specific sport. Only six male and six female student-athletes can be nominated from each institution.

Sport-specific selection criteria:
Golf - Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's TEAM SCORING events OR in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
Field Hockey - Eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
Gymnastics - Eligible nominees must be ranked in the top-75 in an event within their division according to Road to Nationals rankings AND/OR eligible nominees must have competed at their divisional national championship event.
Volleyball - Eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. Liberos, although not counted in stats as a starter, may be counted as such for nominating purposes.
