
Driscoll Set To Take On The Champion Trace at NCAA Regionals

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State junior Jasmine Driscoll will become the third individual in program history to compete at an NCAA Regional on Monday when she tees off on hole 10 at 9:50 a.m. ET on the Champion Trace at the Keene Trace Golf Club for the NCAA Lexington Regional.

It will be the first of three rounds for the 2025 Mid-American Conference medalist on the Par 72, 6,322-yard course in the three-day regional which runs May 5-7.

For the opening round, Driscoll will be paired up with fellow individual competitors Madison Dabagia and Caroline Smith from Indiana University. The regionals' six individuals will also tee off at 9:50 on the final two days of the event, with pairings for the second and final rounds determined by score.

The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to play in the championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The championship rounds will be contested from May 16-21.

Driscoll earned her spot at the NCAA Lexington Regional by winning the individual title at the 2025 MAC Championships with a score of +2 (218). She started her championship run with a career-low score of -5 (67) on Eastern Sunday which tied as the lowest opening round in a MAC Women's Golf Championship in league history and tied as the second-lowest round relative to par in program history.

Overall, Driscoll's +2 (218), which also earned her MAC All-Tournament Team honors, is the lowest three-round total in a MAC Women's Golf Championship in program history.

In addition to her solid performance at the MAC Championships, Driscoll has played phenomenal golf all season for the Cardinals and leads the squad with a 75.00 stroke average. She has played all 29 rounds for Ball State this season, with nine rounds at-or-below par this season and earned medalist honors at the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic (Sept. 16-17).

A 2025 First Team All-MAC selection, Driscoll was named the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her play at the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic in which she won by five strokes: the largest margin of victory in the three-year history of the event. After shooting E (72) in the opening round, Dricsoll tied the then-lowest round of her collegiate career at -4 (68) in the second. She closed the event with a -1 (71), with her 54-hole final score of -5 (211) being the best of her collegiate career.

In addition to her 2024-25 season accolades, Driscoll is currently the program's career scoring leader 75.93 career stroke average. She has played 17 collegiate rounds at-or-below par and owns four career top five finishes including her pair of event wins this season.
