Langerak Earns Spot on All-MAC Second Team

CLEVELAND - - For her play over the course of the 2025-26 season, Ball State senior women's golfer Sabrina Langerak has been named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team as voted on by the league's 10 head coaches.
Most recently, Langerak led the Cardinals and placed eighth overall at the MAC Women's Golf Championships held at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, with a 54-hole score of +3 (213). She shot rounds of +1 (71), E (70) and +2 (72), while carding seven birdies and 37 pars. She finished the Championships tied for fifth among the field in par 4 average ( E / 4.00 and tied for sixth in par 5 average (-2 / 4.78).
Langerak's effort is the second-lowest score at a MAC Championship relative to par in program history, trailing only classmate Jasmine Driscoll's score of +2 (218) when she won the 2025 MAC Championship at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Indiana.
Along with her solid performance at the MAC Championships, Langerak led the Cardinals with a career-low 74.70 stroke average this season. It is the second-lowest scoring average in the Ball State record books, trailing only Jenna Hague's mark of 74.34 during the 2013-14 campaign.
Langerak was Ball State's top performer in each of the last three meets this season, while finishing second on the squad twice. She also led the Cardinals with eight rounds at-or-below par, including a career-low round of -3 (69) in the third round of the Puerto Rico Iguana Invite.
In addition, Langerak finished play at the Diamante Intercollegiate (Oct. 19-21) at even par (216), for her best career tournament score relative to par. Her +3 (213) at the MAC Championships was her lowest stroke total in a collegiate tournament.
Thanks to her solid play over the course of the 2025-26 season, Langerak finished her career ranked sixth on Ball State's career scoring average chart, with a mark of 76.99. She played 12 career rounds at-or-below par for the Cardinals, while earning two career top five finishes and seven career top 10 efforts.
Langerak becomes just the 10th Ball State women's golfer to earn All-MAC honors and gives the Cardinals an honoree in each of the last three seasons.
