Ball State rounds out play at Mason Rudolph Championship

Cardinals complete three-round event vs. loaded field
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Ball State men's golf team completed its run at the Mason Rudolph Championship Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals finished 10th in a field that featured 12 top-100 teams, including seven in the top 50, at the par-71 Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course.
Joey Ranieri led the way for Ball State and finished in a tie for 49th at 5-over (70-74-74--218). In addition to tallying three birdies in the first 17 holes, the senior carded an eagle on the 522-yard, par-5 18th hole to end his weekend.
Colin Nasser (71-74-74--219) and Joey Wiseman (76-70-73--219) finished one shot back from Ranieri in a tied for 51st at 6-over. The duo logged five birdies on the day. Wiseman had two on the front nine, while Nasser had three across the back nine.
Kash Bellar tied for 55th at 7-over (71-71-78--220). The freshman had 10 pars split evenly across the front and back nine, as well as one birdie on the par-3 16th hole.
Rounding out the Cardinal contingent, Ali Khan tied for 69th at 11-over (73-73-78--224).
Host Vanderbilt won the event at 46-under (806), followed by Liberty (815) and Tennessee (836).
Ball State returns to action April 9-10 for the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
