Ball State makes short trip to Purdue for Boilermaker Invitational

Cardinals to compete against field comprised mostly by teams from Big Ten and MAC
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's golf team is slated to make the two-hour drive west to West Lafayette for the Boilermaker Invitational, April 9-10. The three-round event is set to take place at the par-72 Ackerman-Allen Golf Course.
The Cardinals, making their fourth appearance in the annual tournament all-time, are joined in the field comprised mostly by teams from the Big Ten and Mid-American Conference. Joining Ball State in the 14-team field are Butler, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana, IUPUI, Loyola Chicago, Miami, Minnesota, Purdue, Rutgers, Wisconsin and Troy.
Ball State's lineup for the weekend consists of Griffin Hare, Ali Khan, Colin Nasser, Joey Ranieri and Joey Wiseman.
The Cardinals are paired with Loyola and Miami for the opening two rounds, beginning Saturday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. ET on holes 10-13.
