Biggest "fame" at Ball State was winning the National Golf Invitational event in 20023 to become the first champion of the inaugural event ... Kash is a "big-time gamer," says Ball State coach Mike Fleck. "He is one of the elite golfers in our league. 2023-24 (Jr.): Fired a 73.13 stroke average over 32 rounds in his junior season ... had four top-five finishes including a fourth-place finish in the MAC Championships and the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico in February … his fourth-place finish and All-Tournament selection at the 2024 MAC Championships duplicated his effort from the 2023 MAC Championships ... his second-round 65 at Dorado Beach was Ball State’s lowest round of the year … he led Ball State with three rounds of 4-under-par or better, and five at 3-under or better … the runner-up to teammate Carter Smith at the E.Y. Invitational in September, he later earend a fourth-place finish at the Badger Invitational.
2022-23 (So.): Paced the Cardinals with a 71.94 stroke average over 33 rounds as a sophomore, culminating in an individual title at the first-ever National Golf Invitational in late May ... won the NGI event in a field of 60 competitors, shooting a three-round score of 209 ... his 66 second-round score at the NGI was his lowest round of the season ... finished fourth at the MAC Championships while leading the Cardinals to a second-place finish ... finished fourth at the Dorado Beach Collegiate with three rounds under 70 and his lowest tournament score of the season: 68-69-67--204 ... earned MAC men's golfer of the week honors on March 2 following his performance at Dorado Beach.
2021-22 (Fr.): Participated in seven events and 21 total rounds in his true freshman season … tabbed MAC Golfer of the Week (March 4) ... finished the season with the team's second best round average at 74.19 … had six rounds of par or better … posted the team’s season-best single round score of 62 in the first round of the Earl Yestingsmeier Invite (Sept. 17) … compiled two top-five finishes in the Earl Yestingsmeier Invite (Sept. 18) and the Dorado Beach Collegiate (March 1).
HIGH SCHOOL: An all-state selection as a sophomore in 2019 ... won both sectional championships in which he has competed and has been an All-Three Rivers Conference selection each season ... secured a spot in the Golfweek Junior Tour Hall of Fame with his 10th all-time win on that tour ... won at least one tournament for five straight years ... finished second at the 2018 Masters Tour Championship and fourth at the 2019 Indiana Boys Junior PGA Championship ... also played basketball.
