Women’s Tennis Wraps up Fall Play at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. - It has been a successful fall for the Ball State women's tennis team and now the Cardinals have wrapped up their season at the 2022 Green and White Dual at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility.
Ball State split the top six singles position with all three teams, Butler, Marquette and Michigan State, this past weekend.
On Saturday, Emma Peeler, and Emily Desai each defeated their respective Marquette singles opponents in straight sets while Annika Planinsek took a three-set thriller over the Golden Eagles' Emma Davis. Peeler took down Elisabeth Desmarais, 6-2, 6-3 while Desai beat Andie Weise, 6-2, 7-6 (5).
The Cardinals ended its fall competition on a high note Sunday, taking three of the top six matches from host Big Ten foe Michigan State in singles play.
The Ball State women's tennis team will open the 2023 spring season at home on Jan. 21 against IUPUI.
