Women’s Tennis Earns 7-0 Sweep Over IUPUI

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team opened its 2023 spring season with a 7-0 sweep over the IUPUI Jaguars Saturday afternoon in the Northwest YMCA.
The Cardinals started the match strong taking courts three and two from the Jaguars. The No. 3 twosome of Emma Peeler and Maria Polishchuk were the first twosome off the court for Ball State. The duo took down IUPUI's Marta Krakowski and Emma Dell quickly by a 6-0 decision. Newcomer Allison Mulville paired up with Amy Kaplan to clinch the doubles point for Ball State after earning a 6-1 victory versus Sarah Lounsbury and Grace Lampman.
Ball State took all six singles matches from IUPUI, with Jessica Braun earning a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Lampman on court four to earn match point.
The Ball State women's tennis team continues spring action when it plays at Big Ten foe Purdue Sunday. First serve is at noon.
