Gallagher Leads Ball State in Final Round of Little Rock Classic

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – The Ball State women's golf team finished the fall portion of the 2022-23 campaign with the final round of the Little Rock Classic on Tuesday. Sarah Gallagher led the Cardinals and tied for 36th.
The Diamante Country Club is a difficult, par-72, 6,051-yard course. No teams finished the three rounds below par, despite Georgia State shooting a 283 (-5) in the second round and Missouri State shooting a 287 (-1) in the opening round. Only one team, ULM, was able to shoot even par on the final round.
Gallagher produced two birdies on the final day along with a round of 77 (+5). Her tournament total of 228 (+12) earned her a tie for 36th. She finished the tournament with a team-high seven birdies.
Jasmine Driscoll posted a three-round mark of 230 (+14) and tied for 48th. She shot a final round of 80 (+8) with one birdie. She tallied three birdies for the tournament.
Madelin Boyd notched two birdies for the day and posted a score of 81 (+9). She produced four birdies across the three rounds and finished with a combined tally of 234 (+18).
Peyton Broce came in 65th with a three-round effort of 235 (+19) and made one birdie for the tournament. She shot a final-round mark of 81 (+9).
Paige Hillman finished in 84th with an effort of 246 (+30). She recorded a final-round score of 85 (+13). She notched one birdie for the three rounds.
The Cardinals will not be back on the course until 2023.
