Women’s Golf Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

MUNCIE, Ind. - - For the fourth consecutive season, the Ball State women's golf team will begin its fall slate at the Boilermaker Classic (Aug. 31-Sept. 1) according to the schedule released by fifth-year head coach Cameron AndryFriday (Aug. 7).
It is a good omen for the Cardinals, who have posted record-breaking seasons in each of the last three years after opening play at the challenging Kampen-Cosler Golf Course in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Last season, Ball State finished the year with a 299.24 team scoring average, marking the first time the program has broken the 300-stroke mark in a single season. The previous record was 301.66 set during the 2024-25 campaign, which bettered the mark of 303.61 following the 2023-24 season.
In all three instances, like the team will do again this season, Ball State followed its trip to West Lafayette by hosting the Brittany Kelly Classic at The Players Club at Woodland Trails. The Cardinals will be battling for its fourth straight BK Classic title Sept. 14-15.
Ball State will have a pair of quick turnarounds after its home event, playing in the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept. 21-23) and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Invitational (Sept. 26-27) to close the first month of the season.
The fall culminates Oct. 18-20 when the Cardinals return to the Diamante Intercollegiate hunting for more program records. Last season, Ball State set team records for 18-hole (-6 / 282 in round one), 36-hole (-2 / 574) and 54-hole (-2 / 862) scoring in another successful visit to the Diamante Country Club.
While Ball State's complete 2027 spring slate will be released at a later date, it will be highlighted by the 2027 MAC Championships hosted by Eastern Michigan at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
