Men’s Tennis Continues To Thrive On The Court At Purdue Invite

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team continues to thrive on the court after posting an overall 12-4 singles mark today at the Purdue Fall Invite.
In today's hidden dual event, the Cardinals took six singles matches from DePaul and IUPUI this afternoon at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
Ball State first faced DePaul in the morning session with Thibault de Negri, Nathaniel Webster, Parrish Simmons and Vince Orlando all taking their respective opponents down in straight sets.
Ball State then closed out its day of singles against the IUPUI Jaguars. Three Cardinals won straight set victories versus IUPUI; Simmons (7-6, 7-5) Eli Herran (6-0, 6-4) and Abe Wojtalik (6-0, 6-1).
Other winners for the Cardinals today were Danilo Kovacevic and Chris Adams.
The Ball State men's tennis team closes its three-day invitational Sunday morning with a round of singles against host Purdue.
