Bonin and Herran Named MAC Doubles Team Of The Week

MUNCIE, Ind. - Bryce Bonin and Eli Herran of the Ball State men's tennis team have been tabbed the Mid-American Conference Men's Doubles Team of the Week which was announced by the league office today.

The Cardinals' No. 3 duo of Bonin and Herran went undefeated last weekend in MAC play after posting wins over Binghamton and Buffalo.

Bonin and Herran helped Ball State win the doubles point on Saturday against Binghamton after giving up only one game to Adi Ben Ari and Luke Karniewich to earn the 6-1 decision over the Bearcats.

On Sunday, the twosome continued their success after registering a 6-2 defeat over Buffalo's Finn Macnamara and Tom Owen.

With the wins, Bonin and Herran helped the Cardinals end their 2021 season on a high note, as the Cardinals swept Binghamton on Saturday by a score of 7-0 and then posted a 6-1 victory versus Buffalo on Sunday.
