Women’s Golfers Leading by One at Boulder Creek

Liz Kim will enter final round two shots back

BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- The Ball State women's golf team will take a one-shot lead into Tuesday's final round at the Battle at Boulder Creek.
The Cardinals led Drake by one after Monday's morning round and maintained the same edge at the conclusion of 36 holes. Idaho State is a distant third in the field of four teams at Boulder Creek Golf Club outside Las Vegas.
Liz Kim is the top BSU player in a tie for second place. The junior held the lead through 18 holes after an opening 74 and is now two shots off the pace entering the final round. UNLV's Dana Puyol leads the way.
Ball State's Manon Tounalom (T6), Hadley Moritz (T9) and Morgan Lewis (T11) are also among the top 12 on the leaderboard in the team's spring opener.
The final round is scheduled for a 7:15 a.m. PT (10:15 a.m. ET) shotgun start Tuesday. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
