The River Hawks scored early on in the first frame off of a penalty corner. The Cardinals struggled offensively throughout the contest up until the 4:05 mark of the final stanza. Redshirt senior Michelle Shampton connected with back of the cage off of the assist from junior Audrey Tabor to make it a 1-1 contest with just minutes remaining.
