Cardinals to Honor Senior Class Saturday Night

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men's volleyball team wraps up its non-conference schedule this weekend as the Cardinals welcome Saint Francis and Penn State to Worthen Arena. The team's four seniors – David Siebum, Parker Swartz, Lem Turner and Adam Wessel – will be honored before the Penn State match Saturday.

ABOUT SAINT FRANCIS (11-8, 5-2 EIVA)
Saint Francis is on the road for the second weekend in a row after making a stop in California last week. The Red Flash dropped matches to No. 12 Cal State Northridge and No. 1 Long Beach State. SFU is 2-1 against MIVA teams with wins over Ohio State and McKendree. OH Michael Fisher leads the nation in kills per set (4.83) and points per set (5.46).
SERIES HISTORY
Ball State has won two straight in the series, including a 3-1 win at Saint Francis last year. The Cardinals hold a 15-6 lead in the all-time series.
ABOUT PENN STATE (8-10, 5-2 EIVA)
Penn State is also on the road for a second straight weekend after visiting No. 11 USC and No. 5 UCLA last week. The Nittany Lions forced USC to a deciding set before falling in the final frame, 15-13. MB Jason Donorovich leads the EIVA in attack percentage at .409.
Penn State and Saint Francis have already met once this year with the Nittany Lions prevailing on the road on Jan. 21, 3-1. Those two teams will meet again on March 26.

Ball State has played Penn State more than any other non-conference opponent in program history, 90 times. The Nittany Lions won a 3-2 thriller at Penn State last year and own a 62-28 lead in the all-time series.
