Opening Pitch:Â Ball State is set to play five games in six days this week beginning with a pair of midweek non-conference games. The Cardinals have already faced both these teams this year. Miami won two of three games in Muncie the weekend of April 13-15. Ball State took down Purdue in West Lafayette on April 10, 2-0.

Ball State has won seven straight games entering Tuesday's contest. Over the last seven games, the Cardinals are hitting .302 as a team and three players are hitting better than .400 – OF Colin Brockhouse (.452), 1B John Ricotta (.438) and OF Jeff Riedel (.414).
