Indiana State Cruises to Win Over Ball State

MUNCIE, Ind. – Visiting Indiana State scored five runs in the first inning and did not let up on the way to a 16-8 win over the Ball State baseball team Wednesday afternoon at Ball Diamond. The Sycamores have now won six straight meetings against the Cardinals.
Kaden Moore finished with seven RBIs for Indiana State (30-17), which included a first inning grand slam. Meanwhile, Tony Rosselli added to his team-leading home run total with two long balls. Hunter Owen was a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate, scored three times and chipped in with two RBIs.
Ball State's (29-20) lone bright spot came from junior Sean Kennedy, who went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBIs total.
This was the final home game of the season for the Cardinals as their final seven regular season games are on the road.
Ball State wraps up its conference schedule this weekend at Toledo. All three games will be broadcast live on ESPN3. Game one is set for Friday, May 13 at 3 p.m.
