October 29, 2010 | Men's Swimming and Diving
MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State men's swimming & diving team continues its 2010-11 league slate this weekend when it travels to Ypsilanti, Mich., to battle Eastern Michigan at 1 p.m.
The Cardinals enter the meet with a 1-1 (1-0 MAC) dual record after suffering a 103-102 non-conference loss at Eastern Illinois last Sunday. However, the Cardinals opened the season with a 185-115 league victory over Evansville Oct. 8.
Four-time defending MAC Champions Eastern Michigan will be opening their 2010-11 campaign with Saturday's meet versus the Cardinals.
The Cardinals, who are traveling to EMU's Jones Natatorium for the second straight season, suffered a 158 -127 setback at Eastern Michigan in a Jan. 24 dual meet last season. Despite the loss, the Cardinals score first-place efforts in six of the 16 events on the day.
