2015-16: Brehmer joins the Ball State swimming and diving squad for his first season as a volunteer assistant diving coach.
UNDERGRADUATE CAREER
IN THE BSU RECORD BOOKS: Posted the second-best score in school history in the 3M with a 356.18 vs. Buffalo in on Feb. 1, 2014.
2013-14: Earned his third letter at Ball State ... was the first Ball State male diver to qualify for the NCAA Zone competition since the 2006-07 season ... posted the second-best 3M score in school history with a lifetime-best 356.18 in a dual meet against Buffalo ... finished with a lifetime-best 329.10 on the 1M against Miami ... finished eighth in the finals of the 1M at the MAC Championships with a score of 291.70 ... posted a score of 329.35 in the consolation finals of the 3M at the MAC Championships ... at the NCAA Zone meet, Brehmer finished 28th in the 3M with a score of 261.00 and 35th in the 1M with a score of 245.25.
2012-13: Earned his second letter at Ball State ... finished 14th in the 1M at the MAC Championships with a score of 246.05 and 15th in the 3M with a 269.10.
2011-12: Sat out the year due to injury.
2010-11: Earned his first letter at Ball State … ranked second on the team in both 1-meter diving (261.75) and 3-meter diving (244.80).
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Danny Vondrasek at Chesterton High School … two-year letterwinner in diving … started diving as a junior in high school … All-Duneland Athletic Conference as a senior … named team MVP as a senior, after earning team's Most Improved award as a junior … helped guide Chesterton to conference, sectional and state championship titles as a junior … team won conference and sectional titles his senior year, while placing third at state … posted career-high scores of 292 for six dives and 420 for 11 dives … also competed in track & field.
PERSONAL: Son of Troy and Deana Brehmer … has two brothers, Kirk and Brett … born Jan. 23, 1992, in Hammond, Ind. … majoring in marine biology.
