Jordyn Penny helped lead the Ball State gymnastics team to a 195.000-194.275 victory over MAC rival Bowling Green by finishing in the top three in all three events she competed in at last Sunday’s dual meet.
Penny’s best performance came on bars, when she earned a career-best score of 9.900 to win the apparatus by .050. She went on to score a career-best 9.825 on beam for a second-place finish in that event, while placing third on vault at 9.725.
Thanks to Sunday’s win, the Cardinals improved to 3-0 in dual competition versus MAC opponents, its best conference start since 2013.
