For her play in guiding the Ball State women’s basketball team to the MAC Tournament Championship, senior Ally Becki has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Becki was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after leading the Cardinals to the title for the first time since the 2009 season and just the second time in program history. She averaged 13.7 points, 6.7 assists and 6.3 points per game during the championship run, while playing an average of 35.7 minutes per game.
Becki also shot .571 (16-for-28) from the field, including a .364 (4-for-11) clip from behind the arc. She made all five of her free throws during the tournament, while adding four steals and a block.
