After helping guide the Ball State women’s volleyball team to a 2-1 record at the Indiana Invitational, senior setter Megan Wielonski has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Wielonski helped the Ball State offense lead the MAC with a .286 hitting percentage last week by dishing out 111 assists for a 10.09 assists-per-set average. She was also second on the squad with 34 digs for a 3.09 digs-per-set average and second on the team with nine total blocks for a 0.82 blocks-per-set average.
Her play on defense helped Ball State hold its opposition to a league-low .163 hitting percentage last week. In addition, she collected assist/dig double-doubles versus Southern Indiana (37 assists / 11 digs) and Indiana (46 assists / 16 digs).
