After a pair of strong individual performances in the second round of the NCAA Norman Regional, senior gymnast Megan Teter has been named the Pridemark Construction Student-Athlete of the Week.
Teter led five Cardinals competing as individuals last Thursday with a 9.900 on floor to tie for fifth in the regional’s second session which included No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 16 Ohio State, Arkansas, and NC State.
In addition, Teter opened her night with a 9.875 on bars to tie for 10th overall in the event. In Wednesday’s opening round, Teter led the way for the Cardinals on bars, tying for second overall with a 9.850. She also earned a 9.825 on floor and a 9.800 on vault.
