IN THE BALL STATE RECORD BOOKS: Ranks sixth in school history in the 500 free after clocking a lifetime best 5:01.02 at the 2014 MAC Championships ... ranks eighth in the record books in the 1650 free after turning in a lifetime-best time of 17:16.60 at the 2014 MAC Championships ... is ninth in program history in the 1000 free with a time of 10:28.55 from the 2014 MAC Championships.
2014-15: Earned her fourth letter at Ball State … held the second best time on the team in both the 500 freestyle (5:05.53) and 1650 freestyle (17:39.79), both set at the 2015 MAC Championships … other season bests include the 50 free (26.92), 100 free (57.18), 200 free (1:57.95), 1000 free (10:57.83), and 400 IM (4:40.31) … helped Ball State sweep the 200 and 500 freestyle in the victory over Eastern Illinois with her third and first place finishes … at the Championships, Mattson turned in a 17:39.79 time in the 1650 free, which crushed her previous season best of 17:48.84, which was set early on in the season at the Eastern Michigan Invitational.
2013-14: Earned her third letter at Ball State ... finished in 20th place at the MAC Championships in the 1650 free after clocking a lifetime-best time of 17:16.60 ...other lifetime bests set at the league meet included a 5:01.02 in the 500 free and a 4:37.27 in the 400 IM ... clocked a season-best time of 25.71 in the 50 free against IUPUI and Xavier.
2012-13: Earned her second letter at Ball State ... turned in a season-best time of 17:31.57 at the MAC Championship along with a 5:05.66 in the 500 free and 4:41.07 in the 400 IM ... turned in a season-best time of 2:02.65 in the 200 free at the Indiana Intercollegiate (Oct. 20) ... swam a season-best 2:20.81 vs. Eastern Illinois (Nov. 9) ... clocked a season-best 10:54.92 vs. Akron (Oct. 27).
2011-12: Earned her first letter at Ball State ... participated in 13 meets for the Cardinals ... turned in personal bests in the 400 IM (4:59.07), 500 free (5:24.32) and 1650 free (18:32.73) at the Doug Coers Invitational (Nov. 19), in the 200 free (2:01.50) and 1000 free (10:52.08) vs. Michigan State (Dec. 10), in the 100 breast (1:18.71) at Illinois State (Jan. 14) and in the 100 butterfly (1:07.45) vs. Toledo (Jan. 21) ... swam in the 400 free relay and turned in a 57.45 split vs. Akron (Nov. 5).
